I finally got some pictures of my latest work listed. I have been experimenting with all types of designs. I was accepted into a Primitive Folk Art website "LemonPoppySeeds.com" today. I am excited about adding a new place to show off my style of primitive art and hopefully will draw more attention to my offerings.

Thoughts

Wow this year is going by so fast. However I have been wishing the winter months away. I am impatiently waiting to clean my yard up from the winter weather and plant some flowers. I did sprinkle my sweet annie seeds last week and by doing so I think it gave me the fever.

I have been creating primitive dolls and listing them on Ebay. Selling most that I list but not really making a profit. Ebay has also changed so many things around. The latest being the categories that we list in which will make it harder for the potential buyer to find our primitive treasures. The group that I list under WSOAPP is looking into different ways that are available to us to sell by. Some of us have opened an account at Etsy.com. My new user name is FolkArtPrimitives at Itsy. I have one doll listed there now. I also checked out two websites that look interesting and may look into more throughly RantingRaven and CountryFriedPrimitives. I have been checking back with crowsoup that I learned about a couple of months ago but they are still under construction. Someone mentioned from our group about maybe one of the already established websites start an auction website of their own. I think that would be so exciting and I definitly would be first in line to list. I am going to try a list a couple of pictures of my latest work. I hope it works for me.

Everything's coming up Spring Thyme!

Wow it has been a long time since I felt inspired to write. I have been very busy with the Group that has taught me so much WSOAPP. With all the sewing I have been doing and listing on Ebay I find it hard to think of much else. I am going to be trying out a new pattern tomorrow by My Little Raggedies. It is such a cute pattern. I have listed two different rabbits over that past couple of weeks but only sold one. I am going to relist the other tomorrow plus a new door greeter rabbit.

Now back to work

I am glad the holiday's are over. Now I can go back into my routine of getting some treasures made. Be My Prim Valentine is on my to do list now and I think Raggedy Ann and Andy will be a good choice for the WSOAPP Group Launch . I better get started if I am going to make the January 6th deadline.

It's snowing outside

I just went to pick my daughter up from youth group and stopped at Walmart to get a few things and when I was done and went to my car the snow was already an inch deep. I was a little scared to drive home but I went really slow and made it.

Valentines is appoaching fast and still haven't started anything for our Prim launch. I think the holiday's have me stalled. I have New Years Day dinner to make for about 22 yet and then hopefully I will be back in my creative mood.

With a needle and thread, a little bit of paint and lots of love I can mold a piece of material into a figure that has its own personality and will inspire a memory that will make you smile. I am fairly new to the whole grungy primitive style but I love it and can't get enough.
